Every year I promise myself that I will take more risks and go on more adventures. The need to push beyond my comfortably safe and small world has exploded since moving into the mid 20s. As I become older, my dreams of a bigger world have grown alongside. Saying yes to more adventures is exciting and heart pounding. There are buzzes and tingles. These feelings have helped me realize how amazing this world can be. How wondrous it is to step outside the usual norms and discover things about myself that were dormant. This summer I was very lucky to have had so many opportunities to travel. Whether just an hour or 12 hours away, every trip had its own meaning.
